Death manages to form a protective shield on the successor before she and everyone else is crushed. The Horsemen fight back against the other Egyptians as the pillars begin to destroy the pyramid. Outside, the citizens of Egypt turn on their leader and send massive pillars sliding down into the pyramid to kill En Sabah Nur and the Horsemen. As the sun hits the top of the pyramid, the process begins. They are set to begin a process to transfer En Sabah Nurs consciousness into the body of a younger successor (Oscar Isaac). He is brought into his pyramid by his Four Horsemen - Pestilence (Warren Scherer), Famine (Rochelle Okoye), Death (Monique Ganderton), and War (Fraser Aitcheson). Finally only one of the X-Men can be selected, each one going through a different end level.Nile Valley, 3,600 B.C.The people of Egypt are bowing down and chanting the name of En Sabah Nur (the ancient Egyptian language for Apocalypse), a powerful being. This is followed by two straightforward boss battles in the Danger Room. The next three levels are linear and require each boss level to be defeated. At the end of each level, a boss must be battled and defeated. The player has a limited number of lives that count for all five X-Men and not one individually. The player takes control of five X-Men who each have their own objectives, and different moves and capabilities activated by certain control combinations.
